With a surge in infections across Europe, there is a need for vigilance. Currently, Canada has four active cases of measles, two of which are in Ontario’s Region of Peel and the City of Toronto. Health authorities in Ontario should be ready for the possibility of more cases and potential outbreaks due to continued importation. It’s crucial to stay informed and take necessary precautions to prevent further spread of this highly contagious disease.
